After a few stressful weeks of phone calls, emails, number crunching, and planning, I have decided to cancel HoBLotH IV: Libertines of the Hearth. Succinctly, there are too many logistical loose ends that are simply not coming together quickly and reliably enough for me to host the event at a level of quality that meets the standards that I have put forth for both myself and The Hearth of Britannia.

At the time of this post, I have spent just over 175 hours designing and building HoBLotH IV as well as interviewing dozens of enthusiastic and worthy candidates. Additionally, I have spent just over $2,250 ordering materials, props, and supplies, commissioning artwork, and covering other event related costs such as hosting and advertising fees. Despite all this, everyone who has contributed to the event will be receiving a full refund, including admission fees, sponsorships, donations, and tips.
